About the book : 

The author of the book is Anthony Horowitz. It is the first book in the series Alex Rider. The theme of the book is courage. The genres are adventure fiction, spy fiction, and thriller. It was published on 4 September 2000.  

A bit about the story : 

The book starts with the death of Ina Rider who is the uncle of Alex rider (the hero of the book). They said that Ina rider died in a car crash and also they said that he didn't wear a seat belt (but Alex didn't find it as the truth). Later he finds out that his uncle isn't a banker but a spy. The company his uncle works for hires Alex for a mission. Alex has to spy on a man called Herod Sayle and report any unusual activities. This mission also tests his skills. He has to stop the bad guys before any disaster. 

My favorite : 

My favorite character is Alex. I admire his courage very much even though he is just a teenager. 

What I liked : 

The book was thrilling and awesome.
