A Tale Of Magic : Book Review

“You cannot swim for new horizons until you have courage to lose sight of the shore.”

                                                                                                                                     ― William Faulkner

Hey guys,

I am here with another book review.

The author of the book "A tale of magic" is Chris Colfer. The book was published on 1 October 2019. The theme of the book is magic. The genre of the book is fantasy fiction.

We have all read books where magic was said to be good and bad. The good was known as fairies and the bad was known as witches. In this book both are illegal or in the other words, there is no difference. If they are seen doing magic there is a terrible punishment for them.

In the Southern Kingdom girls are not allowed to read any book which makes Brystal (Main character of the book) angry. She loves to read. Her brother gets books from the library but now that he is going to college Brystal has to find a way to get books.

She decides to become a maid in the library and uses a false name since her dad is famous. Things go fine for a while till she went to the restricted section and found out that she has magical powers.

She gets caught by the head of the library and is sent away to a terrible place. She is soon saved by another fairy whose name is Madam Weatherberry.

She and few more people start to learn how to control their magic and also how to use it.

Things go fine for a while until one day Madam Weatherberry disappears. Brystal and her friends are determined to find her and also save the whole world from dying.

The book is awesome. After all, I love fantasy books, and this one is by my favorite author.

My favorite character is Brystal. I like her determination.

People who like fantasy books and the book series Land of stories will like this book very much.
